Counseling and Social Work
South Buffalo Charter School believes in supporting the mental wellness of our school community. We have two (2) certified school counselors and two (2) certified school social workers. We work as a team to meet the needs of our students and support them to have a successful school year. The counseling team utilizes a proactive approach to encourage healthy social-emotional development by providing a continuum of student and family support to promote academic, social and emotional success at SBCS and beyond.RECORDS REQUESTS: Please contact Latashia Perry at lperry@southbuffalocs.org. 716-826-7213Ms. Katherine Jafari (she/her/hers)School Social Worker716-826-7213 ext. 621Mrs. Carole Taggart (she/her/hers)School Counselor716-826-7213 ext. 423We strive to help our students be successful and live to their fullest potential.
